An important problem with regards to the situation of bonded labourers in India is with non-implementation of the legislative provisions made for the rehabilitation of the bonded labourers after they have been freed.
BBA has developed internal systems to track progress of the process of rehabilitation of rescued bonded labourers through follow-up by letters, phone calls, physical visit to child's home by staffs and information sought under RTI.
